To get to Phongsaly, you have to take a truck from Oudomxay. Here's a good part of the road where we stopped for lunch and a quick check of the systems.
The ONLY way to ride. If you sit inside you end up with a bruised ass and carbon monoxide poisoning from the diesel fumes. Outside you have the wind in your hair and your knees to absorb the many bumps.
